Modern Slavery Statement 2023

This statement has been published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that CoCredo Ltd has taken within the last financial year and continues to take to ensure there is no slavery or human trafficking within our business or our supply chains.

Introduction

The term "modern slavery" encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. CoCredo has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and where appropriate to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business. We seek to treat everyone fairly and consistently, creating a workplace and business environment that is open, transparent and trusted. We are committed to promoting diversity, preventing discrimination and providing a supportive and inclusive working environment for our employees.

Our Supply Chain

CoCredo recognizes the importance of understanding and mitigating the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within our supply chains. We are committed to working collaboratively with our suppliers to ensure that ethical practices are upheld throughout the supply chain. Our supply chains mainly include contracts and licences for the provision of data and IT services in respect of our core business of providing data and information services. As such, our supply chain is largely for the provision of 'services' rather than manufactured goods. Due to the industry that we operate in, we have identified that the risk of modern slavery within our supply chains is considered low.

Actions Taken in 2023

In the past year, CoCredo has taken the following actions to combat modern slavery and human trafficking:

Reviewed and updated our policies and procedures to enhance our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking. As a result of this review, all CoCredo employees are required to adhere to the following policies:

Anti-Corruption and Bribery Policy: The purpose of this policy is to prevent bribery and corruption across CoCredo’s business. It details that CoCredo and its directors, employees, and those that work with us must comply with applicable anti-corruption laws in the jurisdictions in which we operate, including the UK Bribery Act 2010.
Whistleblower Policy: We encourage all staff to report any concerns related to our activities and those of our suppliers. This includes concerns around modern slavery in our business or supply chain.
Corporate Social Responsibility Policy: As a responsible company, we believe that our long-term future is best served by respecting the interests of all our stakeholders, employees, clients, suppliers and the wider public.

Reviewed our supply chains and procurement processes, by conducting a risk assessment of the sectors and geographical locations in which our suppliers operate in. Based on our review we are confident that the risk of modern slavery within CoCredo and our suppliers is very low.

Future plans

We are committed to continuing to develop our understanding of the issues surrounding modern slavery and taking a proactive approach in mitigating the risks involved in modern slavery. We will continue to review our policies, processes and controls, as well as look for new ways to strengthen our controls around slavery and exploitation.

This statement has been approved by our Board of Directors and will be reviewed and updated annually.
