Tracking changes to your customers, suppliers, and other businesses you deal with is an important part of effective credit management.
Financial information, ownership, corporate structures, and legal events can all change quickly, potentially affecting the businesses you trade with.
We’ve introduced new controls to CoCredo’s Monitoring service to give you greater control over the information you receive and how you manage your monitoring preferences. These enhancements make it easier to focus on the company changes that are most relevant to your business, while still giving you the flexibility to adjust your settings whenever you need to.
Our unique dashboard lets you select the specific areas of a company report you want to monitor.
These controls are available for all companies you currently monitor. You can change your selections at any time, and updates take effect immediately.
When a percentage threshold is available, you will receive a notification only when the relevant change exceeds the percentage you selected.
To ensure you receive notifications for all changes, we recommend keeping these options set to "All changes."
This gives you the flexibility to decide how closely you want to monitor changes, depending on the companies you're tracking and the level of information that's relevant to your business.
Legal Events
The Legal events filter covers changes relating to the legal status of a business, including:
These types of changes can be particularly important when monitoring customers or suppliers, as they may prompt you to review your existing credit exposure or trading relationship.
Corporate Structure Changes
The Corporate structure changes filter covers changes to a company's wider corporate structure, including:
Corporate changes do not necessarily mean that a company is experiencing financial difficulty. However, they can provide useful information about changes to the business you're dealing with and may warrant further review.
Both Legal events and changes in corporate structure are enabled by default for all company accounts. This ensures that our existing customers continue to receive monitoring alerts without needing to modify their settings.
Customers who prefer a more targeted approach can opt out of either type of notification, giving them greater flexibility to tailor monitoring to their individual requirements while keeping the existing monitoring experience unchanged.
Account Managers with permission to access monitoring settings can manage these options directly from the Monitoring list within the CoCredo dashboard.
Select "Options" to access the monitoring settings, where you can choose which types of company changes you want to receive notifications about.
The same two monitoring filters are also available in CoCredo’s D.N.A Portfolio Manager.
For each D.N.A portfolio, users can access the equivalent monitoring settings directly from the portfolio list by selecting Portfolio options.
This means customers using D.N.A can apply the same level of control across their individual portfolios, helping them focus on the changes that are most relevant to the businesses they manage.
More Targeted Monitoring, Without Losing Visibility
The new filters have been designed to give businesses greater control without adding complexity.
You can tailor your monitoring preferences to how your business works, giving you greater control over the information you receive without missing important developments. Whether it’s a legal event, a change in corporate structure or another significant update, you can decide what matters most to you and adjust your preferences whenever you need to.
It’s another way CoCredo puts you in control, helping you stay informed about the businesses you trade with while making sure the alerts you receive are relevant and useful.
